Digital Footprint / Digital Citizenship
A digital footprint is whatever you do online. You leave tracks of what you do on your computer.
Everything you do is kept tracked on your computer device. You're like the cookie. You leave a lot of little crumbs behind you.
Digital citizenship is when your on the internet you're not bullying people, sending people that you don't like dirty messages to get them in trouble or just to be mean, or hacking into other people files of personal things. Digital citizenship is not stealing peoples ideas off of the internet or posting personal information on something such as Facebook or Myspace. It is not calling people names o anything like that because you are gelious of them.
Some good examples of digital citizenship are respecting others privacy, not stealing any of there ideas that they post, or reading there E-mails. So pretty much good citizenship is behaving on the online use. Some more examples are not calling people names or anything foul like that.
Negative digital citizenship is when you call people names or don't respect others while your on the internet. Or if you hack into others accounts, that is also negative digital citizenship.
Assignment: DigiTeen Introduction
After reading some introductions from other students in the project:
1. Look at the rubric so that you will know how the introduction will be graded (advanced is worth the most points, beginning is worth the least points).
2. Write 5 - 10 (or more) sentences to introduce yourself.
3. Pay particular attention to correct spelling, capitalization and punctuation - this is SCHOOL WRITING, not TEXT writing.
My name is Alex and I go to Anamosa West Middle School. I particpate in dance and volleyball. I have five brothers and no sisters. I love zebra's and dogs. I have two dogs, four cats, some chickens, a rooster, and eight horses. My horse is a dapple grey. She is a sweet heart but she has hoof problems. I have three miniture horses. The third one was born on Easter. My family has rescued five out of eight of our horses. I have four nieces and a nephew. My favorite subject in school is math. Math sometimes confuses me but it is really fun.
